KRAM/WEISSHAAR

Reed Kram and Clemens Weisshaar are rising stars in the field of design. They have been referred to as "the vanguard of the next generation of digital designers" (FORM Magazine) and "the poster boys of a new breed of designers" (International Herald Tribune). Their office engages in the design of spaces, products and media. Key projects include the technology for Prada's Epicenter stores (2001-2004), the seminal BREEDING TABLES (2003); HYPERSKY (2006); and OUTRACE (2010).

Their work has been exhibited worldwide and can be found in the permanent collections of the Vitra Design Museum, Weil am Rhein, Museum of Modern Art, New York and the Centre Pompidou, Paris.

CLEMENS WEISSHAAR

Clemens Weisshaar (DE) was born in 1977 in Munich. After an apprenticeship as a metal worker he studied product design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and the Royal College of Art in London and was an assistant to Konstantin Grcic for three years before founding his first office for design in 2000. Weisshaar lives in Munich.

REED KRAM

Reed Kram (SE) was born in 1971 in Columbus. Kram holds a Bachelor of Science from Duke University and Masters of Arts and Sciences from the MIT School of Architecture and Planning where he was a founding member of the Aesthetics and Computation Group at the Media Laboratory with John Maeda. In 1998 Kram won the Fulbright Fellowship for Art and Design for the Netherlands and founded his first office for design in 1999. Kram lives in Stockholm.
