THE DOUBLE CLUB

TWO HORSES RIDERS CLUB BAR

The Courtyard Bar was at the heart of the Double Club experience. The space was divided into four slices: two western and two Congolese, and was covered with a glass roof, lending it a special outdoor feeling.

The Congolese bar was made from wood and corrugated iron imported from Kinshasa, and designed as to mimic the kind of informal drinking spots typical of the city – and presents a striking contrast to the adjacent Western bar, made from a slick, solid copper monoblock lit by neon signage of the name, the Two Horses Riders Club. Copper TRITON stools reinforced the sense of contrast.
